H.E.S.C.O. is recognised in the oil industry for having produced the H.E.S.C.O. Heliloader, a simple mobile lifting truck which is now commonly used among helideck crews. The Heliloader is a lightweight lift and shift vehicle capable of negotiating the rope safety nets and handling loads up to 510 Kgs.
